- Romans 10:9-18
In chapters nine to 11 of his letter to the Romans, Paul addressed the painful question of why the majority of Jewish People failed to accept Christ.
These were Paul's own people and he was personally hurt by this. He was proud of his Jewish heritage and wanted all his people to be saves. The question of what will happen to Jews who don't believe in Jesus caused Paul a great deal of grief and anxiety.
Today's reading reminds us that God has come into this world to save all people - and that includes you.
Our salvation comes through faith in this good news of what Jesus accomplished by his life, death and resurrection.
So ... what do you really think about this good news that you're celebrating this Advent season?
