As you watch, you're wondering if the disciples see the parallel between what is taking place here and what took place at the Last Supper. At the Last Supper (in Mark's account) Jesus "took the bread ... and gave it to them." Those same words are used to describe what is taking place now.
You begin to think about their celebration of the Eucharist with others, which none of them had done yet. How will they do it? What will it be like in those very first years with no set rituals, no written Gospels or epistles?
When they do start to celebrate the Eucharist they will surely look back to the Last supper, and also to this meal here, plus the many meals they shared with Jesus during his ministry.
And, when they celebrate Eucharist, they will have a powerful sense of the Lord's presence as the host of the celebration, just as he hosted the Last Supper, and here is hosting this breakfast.
As you watch this scene, you start to think about whether you have as strong a sense of the Lord's presence at the Eucharist, not simply in the bread and wine, but hosting the entire celebration.
